Originally from Miami, Florida, he has performed at prestigious venues including The Second City and iO Theater in Chicago, opened at The Orlando Improv, and is a frequent performer at Atlanta’s Dad’s Garage Theatre. As creator and host of The BBL, a satirical news show spotlighting Atlanta’s local news scene, Alex Jean-Baptiste Jr. delivers incisive social commentary with wit and style. Not your typical anything, comedian Amanda Goldstein Marks, can turn the minuscule or mundane into a monumentally funny shtick. Amanda performs stand-up comedy, produces and hosts comedy shows and co-hosts the award-winning Sis & Tell Podcast. Mommy and Me Fake Cake Jewelry Box Workshop Sunday, January 11 | 2 p.m. | $35 per jewelry box | Ages 6+ | Reservations Required Get ready for a sweet and sparkly creative experience! In this whimsical hands-on workshop, you and your little one will work side-by-side to design your very own fake cake jewelry box—no baking required. Together, you’ll transform a plain wooden box into a deliciously realistic cake creation using colorful paint, soft clay “candies,” and fluffy faux frosting made from spackle that you’ll pipe just like real icing. From pastel swirls and piped borders to clay strawberries, sprinkles, and charming toppers, every detail is yours to customize. Kids 6 and up are welcome with parent participation. New Year, New You: Skyline Sound Bath Experience
Join us for our last event in our "New Year, New You" Series! $35 per member, $50 per guest. Sound Healer, Rebecca Turk will take participants on a meditative and healing journey of sound. This sound experience incorporates the angelic healing tones which radiate from her quartz crystal bowls tuned to the 7-point chakra system, a native drum will mimic the sound of ocean waves, her Wind Gong is a cleansing and clearing instrument and finally, gentle tones from Koshi chimes tuned specifically to the four elements will complete the experience. Vibrational sound healing has been shown to help reduce stress, promote restful sleep, and relax tension in the body by producing a specific resonance and tone. Sound baths are designed to relax the body, nervous system, mind, and energy systems. When these systems are allowed to relax and release, healing can begin. New Year, New You: Skyline Sound Bath Experience
Join us for our last event in our "New Year, New You" Series! $35 per member, $50 per guest. Sound Healer, Rebecca Turk will take participants on a meditative and healing journey of sound. This sound experience incorporates the angelic healing tones which radiate from her quartz crystal bowls tuned to the 7-point chakra system, a native drum will mimic the sound of ocean waves, her Wind Gong is a cleansing and clearing instrument and finally, gentle tones from Koshi chimes tuned specifically to the four elements will complete the experience. Vibrational sound healing has been shown to help reduce stress, promote restful sleep, and relax tension in the body by producing a specific resonance and tone. Sound baths are designed to relax the body, nervous system, mind, and energy systems. When these systems are allowed to relax and release, healing can begin. Rebecca’s sound bath experiences are cleansing and rejuvenating on the deepest cellular levels; connecting mind, body and spirit.
